Denmark and the UN

In June 1945, the Charter of the United Nations (UN) was signed in San Francisco by 51 founding countries, including Denmark. The Charter outlines the fundamental purposes of the United Nations: maintain international peace and security, strengthen respect for human rights and achieve social and economic development. On these pages, you will find information about the work of the Danish Mission to the UN.
