The Women Deliver’s 4th Global Conference is taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark from the 16-19 May 2016. The conference this year will focus particularly on health, covering areas such as maternal, sexual, and reproductive health and rights – and focus on gender equality, education, environment, and economic empowerment and how Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) can be implemented.
The 2016 Conference brings together world leaders, advocates, policymakers, journalists, young people, researchers, and leaders of corporate companies and civil society to showcase what it means and how it works when girls and women become the focus of development efforts.
More than 5000 attendees including 2000 organizations, over 150 countries, and 500 journalists are expected, which is the largest gathering on girls’ and women’s health and rights in the last decade.
